The House and Garden of the Young Lord of Ajiro, Kashigi Omi

Part of the village of Ajiro, built on Burke Mountain in British Columbia. Almost everything seen here was created for FX’s Shōgun. The only existing elements were the two mature trees in Omi’s garden and the forest in the distance.

Blackthorne’s House

The finest house in Ajiro, after Kashigi Omi’s, of course. As with Omi’s, this more than a set, it is a an actual house and garden, built to withstand all seasons.
